Hallie Stallings ’22 and Lauren Sheehan ’25 were selected as winners in the Bethesda Literary Festival’s Youth Writing Contest! There were nearly 500 entries into the contest and only eight winners were selected. The topic of the writing contest was "If I were President...."
Hallie and Lauren read their essays at the Essay Reading & Awards Reception on Sunday, April 17, at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda Hotel. The winners were awarded with prizes.
Proud teachers Amanda Allman (Lauren) and Diane Wilson and Flavia Huber (Hallie) attended the ceremony with the families of these young writers.
