Middle School French students participated in the 2016 National French Contest/Le Grand Concours annual competition, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students were evaluated for their written, oral and listening comprehension skills in French. More than 85,000 students in all 50 states competed in the 2016 event.
Twelve Stone Ridge girls received medals! One student received the Platinum medal - "A Platinum winner is the highest award in Le Grand Concours - this student earned the top score of 100% in the nation in his/her respective level/division. The award includes a platinum medal, a plaque for the student, a plaque for the teacher, and a Lauréat National certificate."
