On April 17, the Junior Chorus sang with the Trinity Chamber Orchestra (TCO). The TCO concert featured “Bach’s Legacy,” where the chorus sang several hymns arranged by Bach and a lively operetta piece. Nancy Fazio is the Director of Junior Chorus.
Junior Chorus is the oldest singing group at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. As they wind down their 33rd Anniversary Season, many members performed this weekend with the TCO and some at the Stone Ridge Reunion Mass.
Junior Chorus is a Grade 3-8 children's chorus focusing on the establishment of fine vocal technique, well placed head-tones, harmonic singing, diction, dynamics and advanced sacred and secular repertoire sung all for the honor and glory of God. These are the hallmarks that distinguish the Junior Chorus to this day.
