First Year JV Lacrosse Coaches Continue Coaching Club Lacrosse All Year
it was an exciting first year for first year JV lacrosse coaches Noelle Dribben and Lexi Crusha as the team showed development and consistent improvement throughout the year posting a 7-3 record overall. The SR lacrosse program has been growing the past two years, evident through roster sizes as well as the expansion to grades 5 & 6.
Due to their roles as club coaches for the Cardinals (Northern VA) and Rebels (Olney, MD) programs, both Coach Dribben and Crusha will play a major role in strengthening the SR lacrosse brand in the DMV community. Recently during a club tournament the coaches ran into each other. Fortunately they didn't have to compete against each other, but they did grab dinner and caught up on all things lacrosse and SR!
The future is extremely bright for SR lacrosse with more than 60 girls in the Middle School program and more than 90 girls overall. The program has already shown to be a top ISL program finishing in the top 4 the past several years including a 3rd place overall finish this past season out of 16 conference schools. Under the leadership of Varsity Head Coach Maddie Keegan '05, coupled with the entire coaching staff, SR lacrosse has a high trajectory. #goSRgators
