Stone Ridge graduates from the class of 2017 visited the Upper School on Monday for an alumnae panel, providing seniors with an introduction to life as a college co-ed. Visiting alumnae included Katie Brewer, who attends William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia; Cecilia Connolly, a freshman at Georgetown University; and, Colleen McMahon, who attends Fordham University in New York City.

From choosing majors to creating study groups and living in co-ed dorms, the girls had much to tell about their transition to the college life. Cecilia discussed how time-management helped her navigate a heavy course load in her first semester and how she met friends through joining multiple University sponsored clubs. Katie talked about how much she loves William & Mary's small school feel and her decision to join a sorority. Colleen spoke on how she chose her major and the importance of communicating with her professors. All three SR graduates agreed that their time at Stone Ridge prepared them academically, spiritually and socially for college.

After their introductions, students had the opportunity to ask questions of the recent graduates, gaining further insight into life at a university.
